George Hotz just published a video of the first unlocked iPhone running the official OS 3.1.2 and baseband 05.11.07 using BlackSn0w. Earlier this week, he was offered $10,000 to work on the 05.11.07 carrier unlock. Initially, he said it would only take him 24 hours. It’s been more than 24 hours but it’s still darn impressive, and let’s not forget how long it took the Dev Team to unlock the previous version of the baseband. Geo Hotz is the man!

With every new firmware comes a new unlock. Once again, it only took the Dev Team a few days work to release an update to their PwnageTool and UltraSn0w to bring a safe, reliable and easy to use iPhone 3.1.2 unlock.
